Dr Pertusa is a friendly and attentive psychiatrist who clearly has a lot of experience. I am a student and Dr Pertusa was able to give me good advice regarding my treatment management, exercise,and sleep so I'm able to get the most out of school and live a healthy balanced life. I have a holistic, biological and cognitive-behavioural approach to Mental Health. This means I see mental health problems emerging from a combination of factors including biology, genetics, upbringing, psychological tendencies and our environment.
I believe in promoting a healthy style of living and providing psycho-education as a way to help my patients understand and be better able to deal with their psychological, emotional or mental health problems.
I have a particular interest in the diagnosis and management of adult ADHD / ADD.
