Dr Gramsma is a top practitioner in my view. Wise, friendly, knowledgeable and with a lively sense of humour. As others have commented, more like an excellent GP of yore rather than the modern variety. I have no hesitation in recommending Jim. Overall he is excellent!

Very bad doctor in my opinion. Usually at doctors appointment would expect them to evaluate your symptoms by asking questions and doing any relevant tests. They would then give you possible diagnosis and plan of action. Unfortunately this doctor doesn’t really do anything other than tell you to sit in the sun to get your vitamin d. You have to end up questioning him about what could be wrong and begging to have any tests. Obviously vitamins are important but when you are in a lot of pain and no advice is given or proper diagnosis, I’m sorry but what is he actually being paid to do? Thinks just because you’re young person that you have to be healthy! Had been unwell for a week and asks why I hadn’t been sat in the sun, laughs when I say it’s because I’ve been ill so I’ve been resting in bed.

Give this man an OBE. I cannot recommend Dr Gramsma highly enough. He is smart, kind and warm hearted. He not only gives you all the time you need to explain yourself but is open to suggestions and proper conversations, making you feel when you leave the surgery, not only listened to but given the best care possible. He is incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful and cares for his patients. More than once he has taken the time just to give me a call to see how I am and check on my progress. He is the traditional Doctor everyone craves these days, going above and beyond. I trust him completely. He is an asset not only to Eden Park Surgery but the wider area and NHS as a whole. Note: He also raves about the benefits of green vegetables and particularly Broccoli to all that will listen! (and I do).

Dr Gramsna is caring, very knowledgeable and really takes the time to listen and explain. I trust him implicitly and feel he's really focused on doing his best for me as an individual.

He listens to you, I mean really listen to you. And he never seems tired to explain things to you. I am so comfortable to tell or ask him anything pertaining to any sickness I have.
