Dr Doerr is highly empathetic. He takes control of the consultation to help you focus your issues but is very willing to take a detour if you say that you need to do that. He welcomes questions and gives clear answers and is as reassuring as he can be without misleading. He doesn't make you feel as if he'd like to draw the appointment to a close so that he can get on to his next one. Previously I thought it did not matter which GP I saw at the Medial Centre. Now I will ask to see Dr Doerr if that is possible.

I have had problems for while and have been seen by other doctors who seemed to concentrate on specific symptoms to try and find an answer. Dr Doerr listened to what I was saying and then went over everything I had said and tried to piece them together to get a full picture, without me feeling rushed. As a result I'm now waiting for a referral rather than just another blood test. Very happy with the outcome of my appointment.

Dr Doerr saw both me and my son. I find him very uncomfortable and invades personal space. He’s very hands on and doesn’t take health complaints seriously.

I had made a appointment with Dr Doerr, as he was the only one available, I was suffering with lower back pain his advice was to do yoga and come back in 12 months , very unhelpful with this advice so I left feeling let down , so much so I made another appointment shortly afterwards with another Dr who quickly got blood test done etc and I was diagnosed with cancer!!, fortunately for myself this has been treated in the nick of time left any longer I was told I would be in serious trouble, I am so fortunate to have listened to my own instincts and not Dr Doerr !!
