After years of being ping-ponged around different doctors, some of whom thought my problems were all in my head, I found a Dr who truly listened and looked at me holistically. Dr Hakim was incredibly thorough in his investigations of my illnesses and really listened and showed empathy. The report Dr Hakim made after our consultation has been like a golden key; when my GP and local consultant read his report it was like they really took me seriously! Subsequently - and I feel very much owing to Dr Hakim's comprehensive report - I have had a diagnosis. I am so, so grateful.

I've now seen Dr Alan Hakim and it's been amazing both times. He knows his area, and he is totally supportive of working to help you the patient, get solutions that best meet your need within the possibilities open. I saw him privately both times - and the difference his expertise and knowledge has made to my family is huge. I'd love to give bonus stars. Well worth the faff of childcare (easier without our 2 going) and travel for us to London for all visits. I recommend him unreservedly and wholeheartedly.

I have seen Dr. Hakim previously in London but find the journey very difficult so a Skype follow up is ideal for me. Dr. Hakim has achieved so much for me in a face to face and a Skype consultation. No one could fault the value for money he gives. He is excellent at establishing a rapport with patients and other involved Professionals. My only regret is not finding him 15 years ago. I would urge anyone, if you are unsure if Dr. Hakim can help you please give him a try. He is honest and committed to helping patients. I recommend him unreservedly, I have also observed his treatment of my Daughter , she rates him very highly indeed.

Dr Hakim offered me specialist support for my condition and made me feel heard and understood - unlike several previous clinicians. He offered a bespoke care plan that factored in my needs and lifestyle. He also assisted me in getting access to other areas of non-medical support that I needed. It can be difficult to access some forms of non-medical support but Dr Hakim listened to my concern and by understanding my specific needs was able to write letters to this effect. As a private patient is was expensive but my insurance covered this for the most part. I think it was certainly worth the money and I would definitely recommend his service.

After seeing many consultants over the years I was impressed by the level of empathy, patience and time Dr Hakim gave me. He was thorough in his investigations into my complex medical background. He offered me clear and precise advise and diagnosis. He did not judge me or rush me. I would recommend Dr Hakim.
