An incredible specialist! I saw Dr Bohan as a private patient in Stoke-on-Trent and eventually transferred as an NHS patient. He changed my life. A previous specialist had written me off with an eating disorder (I was throwing up everyday and they couldn’t find out why) before this specialist sought psychiatric help for me I asked him if there was anyone else who could have a look as I knew it wasn’t me that was making me sick. Straight away Dr Bohan picked up on markers and bloods that had been missed, the next day I was sent for diagnostic tests and diagnosed with a treatable but life threatening illness. Further to that he continued to help me with my gastro issues and put me on treatment that got me feeling better! He was easy to contact and nothing was too much trouble. Sadly he moved to practice in Ireland so I no longer see him. The gastro I have seen since does not compare in the slightest and again my quality of life is reduced significantly. If you can see Dr Bohan I would highly recommend.
