This consultant is superb. Dr Fraisse is exceptionally skilled, kind and empathetic. He reassured my mother prior to her procedure, gave her honest and clear expectations of outcome and explained the procedure fully. Previous diagnostics also undertaken at Brompton had led to the procedure, so we had confidence that it would greatly improve my mother's condition, as it proved to do. Dr Fraisse closed my mother's PFO (hole in her heart) under local anaesthetic, in slightly unusual conditions given her co-existing respiratory difficulties. She was very nervous about the procedure, especially given it wasn't being undertaken with general anaesthetic, but Dr Fraisse was kind, reassuring and patient. Obviously he did a superb job as my mother recovered very quickly and the procedure has had a hugely positive impact on her state of health. He also saw my mother several times after the procedure during her recovery and this continuity was very helpful and much appreciated. We feel very lucky that my mother was treated by this gentleman. Every member of staff we met on the ward (Paul Wood at Brompton) was similarly professional and consistently kind and patient.

My son was given a life limiting diagnosis by his previous consultant at another hospital. His care was poor. Professor Fraisse and removed that diagnosis and is confident he can help my son. He has ordered tests and procedures the other hospital neglected to do. I believe my son is in the safest of hands. He makes you feel confident and I trust him with my son. The whole team at Brompton are exceptional.
