I have recently seen Dr Mayet at the surgery for a medicine review and asked about my CT results. Dr Mayet is welcoming and listens to what you have to say he is caring and respectful. Dr Mayet explained my treatment clearly and gave me a copy of my CT result. What I liked was Dr Mayet came out of his office to call me personally. I do find the surgery electronic call system difficult to hear even though I have no problems with my hearing.

I have had several health problems and have received excellent help and advice from Dr Mayet . He welcomes me into his surgery, listens and is very quick to pick up and act on any problems, sometimes before I am aware of the urgency required, e.g when I suffered some mini strokes and was later diagnosed with a tumour behind my eye. Dr Mayet listens, cares and is patient and thorough in his examinations. I am 90 years old and have always been treated with respect which is so important to the elderly

when I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes I was given all the information and told best how to deal with this. I followed every thing told me lost weight and have been praised for the good results. My aim is never to be on insulin and with Dr Mayet help know I can achieve this.

I must admit i have been a patient at this surgery for over 44 years and i haven't always felt listened or taken seriously at times as i don't go to the surgery on a regular basis apart from B12 injections every three months from Jackie the nurse (who again is excellent). I went to see Dr Mayet with pains which i had been told by another doctor at this surgery that it was probably indigestion and he referred for an ultrasound which i received within 3 days of seeing him and since then i have been diagnosed with gallstones which have since caused immense pain. Dr Mayet in the numerous times i have been to see him in the last 2 weeks since receiving my diagnosis has been professional, understanding and caring. I can't thank him enough for all his understanding.
