Dr Agnieszka Papciak

I think Dr Papciak is a locum GP at Forest Health Group so isn’t working here all the time, but I have seen her a few times at Forest Health recently and she has been incredible every time! She is so warm and kind, has always listened to me and is so patient. I have a few mental health conditions which always make GP appointments and things like taking medication or completing tests/examinations more challenging. But Dr Papciak was so understanding of my mental health problems creating barriers to investigating and treating my physical health problems; I didn’t feel like she was judging me for this, and she was so quick to reassure me and find ways of getting around the barriers! There was one situation in particular where she went above and beyond to help me. I was supposed to have a couple of physical examinations but I refused multiple times due to having a history of trauma & being terrified of the examinations causing me flashbacks. As my symptoms became worse, it became more important to have those examinations to gain more information about what might be happening, and I eventually agreed to try having one of the examinations in a double appointment. Dr Papciak was so patient with me in that appointment, she explained what was going to happen, she made sure I felt in control of how the examination would be completed & I knew I could ask to stop at any point, she talked through each step before doing it, and she was so reassuring & gentle throughout the whole thing! I definitely wouldn’t have been able to complete the examination without her being the Dr to do it. I did end up having a flashback afterwards, which lasted quite a long time, but Dr Papciak was so kind and helpful!! She let me sit in one of the spare rooms while I tried to ground myself, she checked on me in between her other patients, and even offered to prescribe the medication I occasionally take when extremely distressed. She was just so compassionate and she did so much to make sure I was okay, even when it was likely very inconvenient for her. She didn’t have to do any of that for me, but I’m so grateful that she did as it made the whole appointment (& the following days) a lot more manageable. I’ll never forget her kindness. I would absolutely recommend Dr Papciak, she’s easily the best GP I’ve seen. I hope she knows how much she is appreciated for everything she does & who she is as a person !!

Sandhurst's loss is Camberley's gain! There are very few people you meet in this world that you can say you've made an immediate connection with, but Dr.Papciak is one of them. At a time when the NHS is under siege, she is JUST what the medical world needs, in my opinion... I must be at least forty years older than her - and male - but I was as instantly at ease with her as I am with my own family and friends (more so sometimes!).

I am beyond gutted that Dr Papciak is leaving the Sandhurst practice. Luckily I don’t visit the GP often, but last year I went with some real concerns and was really distressed. Dr Papciak was nothing short of amazing. She was kind, caring, and explained everything so well. I felt like I’d been chatting to my best friend and felt totally at ease. She followed up on everything she’d promised and I couldn’t have asked for more!

I am so very sad to hear that Dr Agnieszka Papciak will be leaving the Sandhurst practice in March 2021. Dr Papciak is a wonderful doctor, with all the personal qualities a patient could wish for - kind, thorough and totally professional. Dr Papciak took on the challenge of eradicating a very deep and painful verucca that was unresponsive to other treatment, until she made it her mission to defeat 'the beast', which she did very successfully, much to both her and my delight. I am extremely fortunate to have been the patient of such a lovely, caring GP. I will miss her enormously, knowing that I was in very capable hands. I wish her with very sincere regards the absolute best for the future.

I have been seen twice by Dr Papciak who was thorough and extremely professional. Dr Papciak took the time to examine my moles. She is also very kind. I recommend her wholeheartedly. Thank you.
