Having an appointment with Dr Jawad was life-changing for me; I've been struggling with severe depression and bulimia over the past three years and due to all the stigma and misunderstandings about mental health issues that exist in my home country, I had not been able to seek help from anyone, including my family. Consulting Dr Jawad was truly one of the best decisions I have made in my life; he listened intently to what I had to say and assured me at the end of my appointment that things will indeed get better if I just follow a few steps. I am still in the process of recovering but things are improving at a speed that I have previously thought impossible and I will forever be grateful for all that Dr Jawad has done for me.

After lots of poor care from the NHS this doctor listened to me and took me seriously for the first time in ages. I know that I present as fully functioning so it has been difficult to get anyone to believe how debilitating my depression has been. Dr Adil totally got me and listened to what I was saying. I can't make any suggestions to improve the service. It was easy to make an appointment and even when my first appointment couldn't go ahead the staff helped me choose another doctor and made everything easy for me. Dr Adil had access to genetic testing to all them to tailor my anti-depressants to my dna and he called me the day he got the results which was fantastic. He communicated really quickly with my GP and I got the treatment I needed to improve my depression.

I would just like to say thank you for the service I was given. I was in and out mental health services by the NHS for six years without any help. Even though I had a blatant Bipolar disorder, they were still trying to push antidepressants onto me. In particular I would like to recommend DR Adil Jawad as he went above and beyond what was asked and gave me the correct diagnosis as well as running through the medications that were best suited to me. He also made me feel very comfortable and feel at ease.
