DR Adil Jawad, where do I start... This man has saved my life on so many occasions. I was living undiagnosed bipolar for years; I had destroyed my relationship, family, career, and education. Dr Jawad has helped me through my sister's suicide, homelessness and overall destruction of my life. It's not only about mediating and titrating medicines for the complexities of bipolar affective disorders but going above and beyond to get me the help I need. From dieticians to psychologists, this doctor has ALWAYS fought my corner. I am now at University studying clinical psychology, have bridged the gap with my family and have the most beautiful and kind people in my life. So yeah... I'd recommend him.

I was a so called patient albeit very briefly. I was visited by ocular cancer some 10 years ago. Fortunately for me but unfortunately for this Doctor, he got things very wrong! Wrong on many fronts (lobe) get it! This Doctor could not have heard anyone state, especially an esteemed clinical oncologist that I had undergone a personality change because the brain itself is not damaged by this cancer and in any case, I had undergone both CT and MRI scans prior to this Doctor being assigned by Sussex Partnership NHS Trust ! This information was put into a report, I suggest, in error and should have been fact checked before being included.

Dr Adil Jawad had seen me in January for ADHD problems and has put a lot of effort into making a detailed report about me, to which I am surprised how accurate and professional my condition has been described. My local GP was happy and recently able to prescribe my medication because of this. Now I feel like I’m exploring subjects with greater interest and can build a routine and finally “try” again, where I had fallen flat before. I am now getting good feedback at work. I’m at the gym again. I can read a book longer than before and listen to people without looking distracted. On top of that, I recommend all staff that work with Dr Adil Jawad as they are just as important in the process of finding the correct medication. I never felt pressured to get in contact when I had to, whereas my local GP makes me feel rushed and unheard. Thanks!

Dr Adil Jawad's assistance with my treatment has been excellent from start to finish. His incredibly professional attitude made me feel immediately at ease when discussing my issues and concerns. When diagnosed with ADHD and prescribed treatment, he made sure I fully understood exactly how the medication could affect me, both positively and negatively - luckily I have seen only the positive! Psychiatry-UK and Dr Jawad are the first to ever take my concerns with adult ADHD seriously: it feels like I have a great burden lifted off me now that I finally have it under control. Thank you so much!

The consultation I had with Dr Jawad on 23 January 2019 was really superb, and saw a remarkable transformation in me during the course of the video call. It is still only a few days after the call and I am awaiting the changes in medication he advised to happen and take effect; I am still suffering very badly from my symptoms . I started the video call extremely distressed telling him about my current struggles, near suicidal thoughts, inability to sleep or do anything, pacing up and down around the house in tremendous distress for hours, sitting hugging a radiator and feeling that a black curse was upon me and wanted to kill me. Dr Jawad was brilliant. He listened carefully to everything I said, took notes, read my history and last diagnosis. His manner was kindly and jolly and greatly inspired confidence. He asked me a series of very specific questions. Then he pointed towards the accredited book of NICE clinically recognised mental conditions (DSM) with hundreds of diagnoses, and arrived at his diagnosis and treatment plan. I felt really understood and greatly reassured by him, and he really seemed to know what he was talking about. I trusted his diagnosis and the changes in medication and other treatment that he has recommended. I ended the video call feeling extremely fortunate and grateful and with a glimmer of hope restored. I look forward to seeing the results of his treatment plan taking effect, as I am still in a very distressed state . I will be able to add further comments to this review as the treatment continues .
