Dr Adam Zeman

I have been suffering with EDS, loss of muscle tone when laughing, sleep paralysis and vivid dreams for many years. I took 7 years of going to the GP who finally referred me to Dr Zeman. I was assessed through a lumbar puncture and interview as having narcolepsy type 1. Dr Zeman provides fantastic support with my treatment and really listens to my experiences. He really focuses on person centred care.

Saw him after suffering headaches for 9 months had to push my GP to see a neurologist and got Professor Zeman. He had heard about my condition but had never had a case of it in his 20 yrs practicing ( CPH). He was brilliant and attentive. when I go for check ups he wants to know everything any changes plus minus that effected me. Is fantastic in communications with my GP so i feel as if we are working as a team in getting my condition under control and on a lower dose Thanks to him I was diagnosed immediately, which is unusual as it usually takes about 3-5 yrs for you to get treated as there is little know about it and its not common so the GPs dont really know about it - felt a relief to hear so one tell you that you are not going mad and that its not a rebound headache. Couldn't praise him more he saved my life and sanity
