Apologies for not writing this report sooner. I attended an interview / medical review appointment for my father on 5th April 2017. I found that Dr. Maher was so caring and helpful whilst talking to my father who is nearly 90. He talked to my father very carefully, with an excellent attitude of explaining things as well as being thorough with checking notes etc. His overall manner was wonderful and Dr. Maher is a real credit to your hospital. His depth of knowledge seemed very full.

I was referred to Mr. Maher 12 months ago by my GP suffering from SVT. He listened
to me and I had various tests. He eventually referred me to a colleague at University
hospital Coventry and I had an ablation procedure in September 2016. To say it has
been life changing is not an exaggeration, I now feel fine after 15-20 years of SVT.
I am very Grateful to Mr. Maher.

After a year of being passed from one Specialist to another with no result and losing my faith in the NHS, Dr Maher was the first Dr to really listen to me and my explanation of my symptoms. He totally understood what I was saying and took note. After examining me and asking further questions, he was, after a year of being messed about, able to give me a working diagnosis. Further tests are required to confirm his diagnosis, but basically after a year of feeling ill and useless he has given me back hope.
Thank goodness for Dr Maher.

I felt very confident after my initial consultation with Dr Maher.
He listened carefully to my condition and was very informative afterwards.
His calm reassurance and expertise made the experience a positive one.
He subsequently treated me with dignity, explained the procedure and was patient discussing any questions following it.
