I have had the privilege of knowing Prof Gatrad and he offered me and my children ample support in the last few years. He is caring and compassionate and listens to his patients and their carers.

Dr Gatrad has given my 2 year old daughter exceptional care and advice. He listened so well to our concerns and took a lot of time to understand our situation. His advice has been brilliant and we feel very reassured after listening to him. I would most certainly recommend.

Professor G was so reassuring when my son was unwell. We discussed everything at length, no question was too daft. He managed to fit me in before we went on holiday so I didn't spend the whole break worrying. He is so very calming, reassuring and knowledgeable

Professor Gatrad, (or Prof G as he is affectionately known to his patients) could not have been a more reassuring presence when we needed it. We were unsure where to turn and anxious to see an experienced paediatrician as soon as we could. Professor Gatrad could tell and went out of his way was to see us the same day. We were instantly put at ease, and all of the required test were arranged the same day. He was proactive in obtaining the test results and following up as soon as he could. He has a wonderful way with his young patients (and their parents) and we could not recommend highly enough.
