Professor Gatrad, (or Prof G as he is affectionately known to his patients) could not have been a more reassuring presence when we needed it. We were unsure where to turn and anxious to see an experienced paediatrician as soon as we could. Professor Gatrad could tell and went out of his way was to see us the same day. We were instantly put at ease, and all of the required test were arranged the same day. He was proactive in obtaining the test results and following up as soon as he could. He has a wonderful way with his young patients (and their parents) and we could not recommend highly enough.
