The doctor when he started checked that I was on the right drugs. Not just carring on as before. This gives me confidence that he has my best intrest in mind.

The doctor keeps very much to time with appointments and listens to what is said to him. It is comparatively easy to get an appointment and the staff in the office are helpful and friendly

Dr Malik is sympathetic to our individual needs, I do not feel I am being rushed. He will let me discuss concerns I have for my wife who suffers with dementia and has just moved care homes. When visiting recently he sorted my problem out, then asked if I had received a flue jab, I said no as I missed the morning session and then visited my wife after dinner, he asked if I would like it now, I said yes, he is a very caring person. Our surgery is a happy one, the reception staff and practice nurse are all great and Dr Meena M Bukhan was kind in giving me a helping hand to set up the patient access app on my mobile phone so that I can now book and cancel my own appointments. Long live the small practices. I do feel that Dr A Malik's photo should appear on the initial review page

I am usually able to see Dr Malik within 24/48hrs of requesting an appointment. The online facility for appointments and repeat prescriptions is very useful. His surgery work hours are not full time, though. The Nurse/nurse practitioner has very limited hours (I think it was 2 hours a day, three days a week). This meant I had to travel to another practice for regular wound dressing after a major surgery, which was very difficult for me. The reception staff did help by arranging initial appointments for me at the other practice, but I think Albion Road surgery would be improved by having a nurse/nurse practitioner for longer hours.

The doctor will listen to you and then advise you accordingly with or without medication. The receptionist are too very helpful and caring towards the patents.
