I feel very fortunate to be under the direct care of Mr Chaudry and his team at the Royal Marsden as a private patient. As an overseas expat seeking a second opinion (following a bleak prognosis), the professional expertise and ensuing change in treatment plan offered, was a life saver, for which I will always remain indebted. My operation went according to plan under the skilled guidance of Mr Chaudry and the brilliant team of consultants at the Royal Marsden in Chelsea. The level of care, pre, during and post surgery has been excellent. I am currently recovering extremely well following a minimally invasive procedure for a major surgery – again, this is all thanks to the expertise and highly proficient skills of Mr Chaudry. I fully intend to remain under the guidance and care of Mr Chaudry and his team regardless of my overseas status.

Mr Chaudry and his team saved my life. I came to Mr Chaudry after NHS doctors told my me stomach cancer was inoperable and would only offer me palliative treatment. I was very lucky to be referred to Mr Chaudry and was given a chance to live. From start to finish, the care from him was unparalleled, and he patiently listened to all of our family's concerns and answered all of our questions. He was extremely professional and only decided to operate if it was in my best interests. After a very challenging surgery, and a tumour that other surgeons may not have attempted, he removed the tumour in its entirety, 7 months after my diagnosis. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr Chaudry for his exceptional surgical expertise, especially to those who have been told there are no curative options left. My family and I are eternally grateful to him. Thank you Mr Chaudry.

After being told I needed an Oesophagectomy for cancer at a local NHS hospital, I approached Mr Chaudry for a second opinion which was very easy to set up. The initial meetings were all done by video without having to travel. It transpired that Mr Chaudry and his team agreed with the diagnosis and also offered robotically assisted surgery which was not available on the NHS locally. After Mr Chaudry explained the advantages of this type of surgery, I chose to go to The Marsden for it and have never regretted it! I am currently 6 weeks post operation, I am eating, drinking, walking 6000 steps a day and improving each day. I would recommend Mr Chaudry to anyone who was in my position. Mr Chaudry can offer a highly skilled, minimal invasive procedure which gives better outcomes. I am sure this is the way forward in treating my type of cancer and would recommend The Marsden as first choice for anyone!

Mr Chaudry inspired complete confidence. He performed major, complex surgery on me. He explained what the issues were and described how they would be dealt with. The surgery was successful and this was due to his skill and the skill of the team that performed the operation. I am making a quick and complete recovery. One could not ask for or expect any more. I have no doubt that he is one of the finest surgeons in one of the world's best specialist hospital.

Simply put, to me Mr Chaudry is a professional genius. From my first consultation with him and his team, I knew that I was in safe hands. He explained my treatment in a way I could understand, and was always reassuring and positive going forward. There is no doubt in my mind the Mr Chaudry is one of the many people who makes me so proud of our NHS.
