I took my daughter who has Downs Syndrome & I cannot recommend Andrew highly enough - Jessie was put at ease & Andrew took the time to explain not only to me but clearly to Jessie too regarding what we needed to do going forward with Jessie’s oral health!
I will not hesitate to return - Have to also add the reception staff were also excellent making sure we new where we should be parking & offering a drink as we had travelled from Bristol!
My experience of getting a dental implant at Lovat House (to replace a front tooth) has been very positive. From start to finish, the treatment I received from Andrew Barber and the dental nurses was exemplary. Having lost the tooth in a fairly traumatic road traffic accident, I particularly appreciated the high level of professionalism and care provided, as well as the excellent quality of work. The communication has been excellent - at all stages of treatment I was given clear information about the procedures involved and what they entailed, as well as timescales and costs. Much effort was made to ensure the the implant has longevity and is as natural looking as possible. I’m so pleased with the result. I would strongly recommend Andrew and the team at Lovat House Dental to anyone considering a dental implant.
I am exceptionally pleased with the restorative dental work completed by Dr Andrew Barber and his team at Lovat House Dental Practice. My complex requirement (including root-canal, implant, gum plastic surgery, multiple crowns/veneers) was carefully planned and fully explained to me with the associated time-frames and costs. Throughout each stage of my extensive treatment, the work was completed with an incredible amount of precision, care and good humour. The 3D models (physical and computer generated) provided me with a very tangible picture of what we were working towards. Throughout the process, Andrew worked flexibly with me to deliver the best possible outcomes whilst considering other medical needs. I now have a great set of teeth that not only look amazing, but more importantly, are not continually breaking down and requiring regular dental appointments.
As a new patient at Lovat House, I was unfamiliar with the practice, but I was immediately put at ease by a brilliant team of friendly and professional individuals who clearly enjoy where they work! The reception team led by Allisa were superb at, fielding my questions, booking my appointments and answering my queries. Kim who assisted Andrew throughout my treatment, could not have looked after me better or worked harder. In short, I would highly recommend Lovat House to anyone looking for a highly professional, modern and friendly dental practice.
I was treated by Mr Barber over a number of years, initially for gum disease then had a number of bone grafts before getting four implants. This was followed by restorative dentistry which involved a number of crowns and bridges. Due to Mr Barber’s wide range of skills I was able to have all these different treatments done by the same dentist.
I am very pleased with the end results and would highly recommend Mr Barber to anyone.
Dr Barber kept me informed throughout my treatments. I found him to be a very positive orthodontist to deal with. Wanting patients to be proactive in their dental health. Very informed & informative. Utterly professional. Would happily recommend him & his team to family & friends.
