Dr Irvin-Sellers is a lovely doctor. I have seen her twice and each time she was very caring and listened to me when I explained my problems. She diagnosed me as having late onset asthma and I felt very reassured after my visit. I was seen at my appointment time and didn't feel that my time was rushed.

I went with my mother who is elderly with complex issues to see Melanie Irvin-Sellars. Mum was nervous to return for this appointment as she's a smoker and she felt previously she had been dealt with badly because of that. Her consultation was very informative and it will help me going forward to broach issues of quality of life with my mum. Mum was also very pleased with the consultation and the level of care given.

I had an asthma consultation with Dr Irvin-Sellers in Woking today. She did a very thorough examniation and left no stone unturned to get to the bottom of my condition. Whilst I know my asthma will not disappear I feel confident I 'm on my way to being able to manage it. I'm forever grateful by the high standard of care I've always received from the NHS. I was very impressed by Dr Irvin-Sellers.

I attended the appointment with my partner for moral support and as a second pair of ears. I was welcomed into the consulting room alongside him. As a first appointment with Dr Irvine-Sellers, she was friendly, compassionate and took the time to be thorough in finding out about my partners medical history, listening carefully and being very patient when we could not, through forgetfulness, answer her questions promptly On examination she was quick to refer him immediately for an ECG without being alarmist. On the return to her room, with the results from the ECG, she made a prompt diagnosis and explained everything clearly to us, allowing me/us to ask what may have been silly questions, without making us feel like we were wasting time. She also acted on referrals to other departments for further tests which made us feel like everything is being taken under control, giving my partner and myself reassurance and confidence in his journey forward. A very professional and competent doctor. The staff supporting Dr Irvin-Sellers in the department were also very personable and helpful
