My surgery was almost 4 years ago and I am now happy and healthy following the procedure to remove a tumour in my left breast and 11 lymph glands. I was kindly and well treated by Miss Zechmeister who took time to reassure me. At first I didn’t understand how serious the cancer was and believed that surgery was all that was needed. She patiently explained that I would also need chemotherapy and radiotherapy. On the day of my operation I was told that my swab appeared to show MRSA and therefore it could not go ahead. Once again everything was kindly done. Ten days later I was told that it was not MRSA and therefore a new date could be set. Everything went through smoothly and I was allowed home with a drain in place. This was something I’d never heard of before but once again it was quietly explained and I was even given a specially knitted bag to hold the drip. For some time afterwards I wondered if this would be the end of my life but as I said earlier I am healed and leading a normal life thanks to Miss Zechmeister’s skill.

Very pleasant lady very honest with me from the start of my diagnosis explained everything So I understand . Follow up very efficient In my opinion there is nothing to improve on
