I had Dr Uddin who continually words in my mouth to fit a preconceived diagnostic criteria he had in mind. He did not listen to what i was trying to communicate and made assumptions, stating them as facts and saying ‘i’m a consultant’ If i disagreed with subjective information about myself… Terrible ‘treatment’. A complete waste of money.

Hello Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. All patient feedback, good or bad, is extremely valuable to us and is shared internally amongst the relevant teams. Your rating scores show that you were happy overall with our service, but are not so positive in the safety category. This is something we would really like to explore further with you and I wonder whether you would consider contacting our Patient Experience Team at: experience@psychiatry-uk.com to talk through any issues you have had. Many thanks The Psychiatry-UK Team

It's impossible to rate the overall service highly because of the titration system with the nurses being so overwrought. Any contact with a doctor whilst trying medications would have made this 5 stars I'm sure but zero contact with a doctor during titration felt like this service shouldn't exist in this form given the serious nature of these drugs. I know this is the only real access that many people have to an ADHD diagnosis at the moment so you're essentially stuck with this or paying thousands but I just don't think a physical health condition would ever be allowed to be treated in this way. I was told that my titration was ending without any warning and things that came up in my final meeting with the doctor that would have helped my experience whilst taking the meds were never brought up (probably because of no access to a doctor) whilst titrating.

At first we were a bit sceptical about obtaining an ADHD diagnosis for our son online (via Zoom) and then ongoing treatment, but to be honest everything has gone exceptionally well…from our initial online meetings, to liaising with our prescriber and choosing the right medication etc. We feel we’ve received a great service all round, and been able to communicate online via notes and get a quick response has been especially useful. We have felt totally supported by Psychiatry UK and I would definitely recommend to others in a similar situation.

A Dismal Experience with Psychiatry UK: Lackluster Care, Communication, and Knowledge I recently sought help from Psychiatry UK, hoping to find support and guidance for my mental health concerns. Unfortunately, my experience with this service was nothing short of disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my one-star review. First and foremost, the level of care I received was shockingly subpar. It seemed as though the professionals at Psychiatry UK were more interested in rushing through appointments than genuinely addressing my concerns. The lack of empathy and understanding left me feeling neglected and dismissed. Communication was another glaring issue. It felt like pulling teeth to get any information or updates about my treatment plan. Emails and calls often went unanswered, leaving me in the dark about crucial aspects of my own mental health care. This blatant disregard for effective communication is not only unprofessional but also exacerbates the already challenging nature of seeking psychiatric help. Furthermore, I was dismayed by the apparent lack of knowledge exhibited by the staff. It became evident that the professionals I interacted with were not well-versed in the latest developments in the field of psychiatry. This raised serious doubts about the quality of the advice and treatment I was receiving, ultimately eroding any confidence I initially had in their expertise. In summary, my experience with Psychiatry UK was a regrettable venture into the realm of mental health care. The trifecta of inadequate care, abysmal communication, and a concerning lack of knowledge has left me feeling disillusioned and unsupported. I would strongly caution anyone considering this service to explore alternative options that prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of their patients.

It would be cool in future if we could have actual appointments where i can ask questions to gain more knowledge and clarity. I understand that this isn't very accessible at the moment, likely due to funding and time. Other than this, there was nothing bad about them directly at all, which is rare for mental health places. The only detriment was the shortage of medication which the surgery has no fault in.

Psychiatry Uk is second to non. When initially given a 5months guidance waiting time, I thought arghhh this will be forever. But the time flew and I was received contact in just over 4months. On receiving my diagnosis in March. I was offered medication and advised another 5months waiting time for titration support with medication. Again this came round super fast. And the team were always on hand in the mean time, to be contacted on the portal or by phone for any questions and support. I was supported with a dose that suits me and discharged back to my GP. Psychiatry Uk have made me aware that they are still there in the back ground for any additional support or questions if needed. The whole team are very supportive and keep you up to date. To say I have received some life changing information about myself. And doing something I have never experienced before, it’s been amazing and I have felt, so, at ease. Thank You Psychiatry UK

I was seen by Dr Ezra Loh who was wonderful. I felt at ease right from the start. He was very clear about everything and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend Psychiatry UK
