My doctor (Dr San Sreenath) was brilliant. I was looking for a diagnosis for ADHD. Due to my condition, I missed my first appointment as there was some confusion on my end. My appointment was rescheduled, and it took a little while, which is understandable in the current climate. It wasn't anyone's fault but my own, however, I was given a lot of conflicting information by the admin team which was quite upsetting. For example, I was told that if I was on the cancellations list I would get a new appointment quicker. I was then told by someone else months later that this was not the case. Which I found quite frustrating, as my work was suffering and I was already in trouble and really needed some help. However, I was able to get an earlier appointment and everything got resolved, which was great. On the whole, my experience was positive, but there seems to be some miscommunication between the departments and the admin team that I think should be addressed. I found it quite distressing missing my appointment as a result of my neurological condition, as I had waited a long time for it. While some of the admin team reassured me and genuinely did their best to try and help, others made me feel I was to blame and that I had to manage my expectations. And confused me further with conflicting information. Which wasn't a nice feeling considering I was suffering from low self-esteem already and was coming to terms with the fact that I may have been suffering most of my life with ADHD. As I said, on the whole, it was great, but admin seem to be giving out conflicting information, and I did not feel I was treated with enough sensitivity and respect by some individuals.
