I was recommended this product by Digestive Health clinic for my constipation and bloating. The bloating feels worse. I have rashes on my face and red spots all over my body If you read the side effects on the leaflet it says it may cause a rash. I have called the clinic I have no known allergies or take any medication I was on my period, things got worse Please advise

I have Mega Colon, the specialist, and Gp's told me to take it. However, ive been concerned for a while that it is having the opposite effect on me, seems to make the faeces too soft, and feel blocked up all the time, very hard to pass a bowel motion. Im going to stop taking it, and see if i get back to some form of normality. Thanks to the other reviews, who had problems also. I know im not alone now.

I have been taking Movicol since I was in hospital for Diverticulitis bleeding. I have been in agony for 3 wks now, the bloating is unbearable, the agony of 'gastro' pain drives me to pain killers night and day. I have stopped the movicol for 1 day now and feel better already. This is the case of the cure being WORSE than the disease. I am looking elsewhere....

Told to take movicol by my doctor for fecal loading. Prior to movicol I went to the bathroom daily...movicol stopped all that! It made me bloated, with the constant urge to deficate, but nothing other than extremely small bowel motions of semi diarrhoea occurred. Stuck with it for a week, but nope. Horrid stuff, wouldn't recommend. See a natural health practitioner and get your body back in line with nature

Been taking 3 x sachets per day , as prescribed by GP, still no movement after 5 days. Was given very large enema prior to taking Movicol, so expected to have a movement regularly...just cant pass anything ! I follow a good diet , but also take quite a few medications , and also a diabetic. My constipation has ruled my life for many years , and am always very uncomfortable. Would like to know why this strongly recommended medication for severe constipation , does not work on me ??
