I applied capsaican cream on my back for the first time where I have permanent itching under my skin on my back which is very irritating. Within 1/2 hour of using the cream I felt a strong burning sensation where I had applied the cream. I thought it would ease off and then went out for the day but all day long my back was really burning and very uncomfortable. As soon as I arrived home (about 6 hours later) I ran a bath and just laid in it. I tried washing it off but the strong burning sensation on my skin did not abate after which I dried myself and applied some Savlon cream as I didn't know what else to do. That was 1/2 hour ago and, as yet, my back is still burning.
