I have felt quite unwell during treatment and Claire was the reassuring staff member who would always keep a check on me even if just for a quick chat, would spot if I didn't look quite right, would explain information to me and would arrange for my Oncologist to see me when information had been given to me by other staff in an unclear way. Sarcoma is a scary and lonely cancer and to have a accessible staff member who has access to facts etc is invaluable. My journey through radiotherapy would have been far more difficult without Claire in position.

Clare introduced herself at the beginning of my 5 weeks of radiotherapy for my sarcoma. She was there for support the whole way through and always on hand to answer any questions I had. She is very professional and a great asset to the team. Everyday I was asked how I was doing. Clare and her team are very caring and it’s lovely to be treated as an individual and not as a number. The care I have received at UCLH has been amazing.
