For the most part I felt really cared for. The surgical team were brilliant and put me at ease. The nursing staff were fantastic too. I do have one concern and that was being given oramorph when I said paracetamol only due to breast feeding. Breast feeding was all over my notes and they even changed me to be seen first so I could get back to my baby quickly as, and as I made quite clear I cant express due to difficulties with my flow and prolonged periods without feeding is really detrimental to my flow. Originally told no to feeding I was then told I could but may make Piper sleepy but not harm her. Not feeling too comfortable with this. But I do understand it was standard practise I just wished either my notes or I were consulted first.
