My mum has been asked to have a BP reading every day for seven days. She struggles doing this. She came in to ask for someone to help her. No one did. She asked to see Dr K and the receptionist said she wasn't in , as she said that Dr K came out and walked past her! I am fed up with the constant LIES that receptionists keep feeding patients!! My mum needed the help from someone and got no help at all!!

The receptions judge your life I assume they are medically trained if they choice if I’m allowed to see a doctor or not! If they judge your reason is not worthy you’re not getting an appointment that’s it! I had to go to A& E to which they told me to complain as should have been seen! If I could jump ship I would! Based on the receptionist who speaks another local language they seem to get appointments easier than anyone else. Not a fair system here

Dr Roux is very condescending and rude I moved GP to Dr Sohail but for some reason the surgery did not mark this up correctly and Dr Roux still kept picking up my e-consults/calling me and upsetting me. I complained and they apologises and I have since dealt with Dr Sohail who is very pleasant and actually seems to care. I once saw Dr Scott who involved me in a spiritual discussion relating to mental health, which I did not mind but I am not sure is wholly appropriate, but that is for the GMC to decide not me (I understand there has been a wider investigation into Dr Scott about this). Historically it has been difficult to get an appointment but that seems to be getting better.

Worst doctors I've ever been involved with for medical care they should be ashamed the reception staff are rude and whisper behind your back which I myself have actually pulled them up on how they got permission to expand I really dont know I hope they have a good shake up of there doctors and medical staff I've left the surgery now and the care that I am now receiving is 99 per cenybetter

I needed to obtain a repeat prescription of antibiotics as I am prone to develop cellulitis because I suffer from chronic lymphodema and keep them in an emergency should the condition reoccur over the forthcoming Christmas holidays. I was seen by Nurse Practitioner Alison Kemp within minutes. Thanks Alison I appreciate your advice and support that was given to me so promptly. Thursday 5th December, 2019.

A close friend recommended Bethesda when we moved to Thanet 6 years ago. My Mum was 79, had multiple health challenges, and always looked forward to seeing Dr Roux her GP. When Mum passed 3 years ago Bethesda sent us an unexpected condolence card within 48 hours which was much appreciated. At Mum’s Inquest Dr Roux chose to sit with us as a family which was very supportive. I chose to join Bethesda 1 year ago. Dr Heather Scott is my GP. Dr Heather Scott treats me with respect, is 100% on my side, and I can tell that she genuinely cares. I hold Dr Heather Scott in high regard and feel blessed to have her as my GP. I have volunteered alongside Dr Heather Scott at Thanet Winter Shelter for rough sleepers.

The appointment system is atrocious. Even if you ring on the dot when the surgery opens appointments are engaged. This service represents all that is bad in the NHS Service in East Kent. I would strongly recommend that all other avenues are explored before signing up with this surgery. When you put in a request for a repeat prescription seldom to the requesting doctors bother reading your notes. This leads to not having the correct drugs prescribed,

Getting an appointment is very difficult unless your on the doorstep at 8am, which is sometimes not possible and future appointments cant be made which is very frustrating. It would be good to be able to make future appointments on the website which at present you cant do. The receptionist are very good l have not had anything but respect from them and they do thier utmost to help. The only downside to the practice is the appointments if this could be sorted It would be supurb.

Appointment system a mess, on phone for for 20 minutes is common. Impossible to get an appointment signing 3 days, emergency only. Reception , Secretary, Very slow , if they don't forget at chasing up problems for you, Prompted to take telephone consultation with Dr, timewasting as you need an in person appointment later. Receptionists can be surly and rude.

My daughter has depression has not seen her own dr through all of this and because she thought the receptionist said 9:10 instead of 8:50 they have removed her from the surgery we as a family have been there for over10 years and all that time the woman who is office manager sue Clark has shown nothing but contempt for us..... she is the one who has decided this and is pretending it’s her own doctor that she’s never seen has......my daughter still has not been treated correctly for depression and feels worse than ever .... these are the people you are supposed to count on when u feel poorly and desperate You should not have to fight... And yet that is what we are doing we are fighting for our girl to be accepted as a patient....as she desperately needs some kind of treatment...... the way we have been treated is disgusting!!!!!!
