12 years I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Gupta for an operation on my left wrist, then 2 years later my right wrist each operation went well and have had no problems with either of them since. In March 2016 after being in the worst pain possible in my left shoulder went to see Mr Gupta once again. My shoulder was bone on bone. Mr Gupta explained all of this and told me i would need a shoulder replacement and once done I should be virtually pain free. I found Mr Gupta to be very professional, warm, friendly and very reassuring throughout the whole process, he has my total trust if ever I have to see him again. He answered all of my questions and when I had anything to say he was a good listener nothing was to much trouble. My operation went very well and apart from being sore I was pain free from the moment I woke up after surgery. I can now do 99% of the things i used to before my shoulder was a problem. to finish my review I must just add that I am chuffed to bits with my new shoulder and would recommend any one with any upper limb problems to see Mr Gupta.

I found Mr Gupta to be considerate and compassionate whilst treating me for a shoulder injury. After various tests and procedures he explained that my injury was such that I could not have a repair to the tendons but I may consider a repair known as an Arthroscopic Superior Capsular Reconstruction. Mr Gupta went to lengths explain that this was to stabilise my shoulder and not a finite repair. After our discussion, elected for the reconstruction, Thursday 29th June 2017, 6 weeks after the procedure, at the follow up consultation with Mr Gupta, the support wedge was removed and I am astounded and very pleased with the range of movement and lack of pain, only having mild discomfort. Such is the expertise of Mr Gupta, I was able to stop all pain medication one week after the procedure. I am very pleased with the initial result and the future long term prognosis.

Mr Gupta has repaired my shoulder with a new technique, he performed a resurfacing of my shoulder ball with a small disk. the operation was a complete success. He offers concise yet thorough information in connection with the procedures. I was fully informed throughout of what was happening to me and I am extremely pleased with the result and have made a full recovery. His manner is one of reassuring and professionalism. He had my complete trust and confidence through-out.
