Mr Khoubehi operated on me for urinary retention in June this year. I was recommended to him by my GP, in whose opinion Mr Khoubehi is the best urologist around. I can now fully understand and completely agree with my GP. During my fist consultation with him, he spent time answering all of my questions and explained all the possible options. On the day of my surgery he completely put at ease and he had a great anaesthetist who was very efficient. I left hospital 2 days after my TURP, delighted with the outcome of my operation. Mr Khoubehi saw me each day I was in hospital and took great deal of time answering all of my questions. After leaving the hospital, I saw him in two separate occasions (he has now discharged me to my GP), on each occasion he was on time and interested on my surgery's results. I am extremely happy with the results of my surgery and cannot recommend him highly enough.

I have been a patient of Mr Khoubehi for many years. He operated on me for kidney cancer. I owe my life to him. He is an amazing surgeon and is extremely caring and very professional. I could not recommend him highly enough. Since the first time I met him, he has always been very kind and generous with his time. His surgical skills and reputation amongst his patient and colleagues is second to none. I was originally referred to him by another urologist.

Had a fantastic experience with this doctor. He performed major surgery on my prostate for prostate cancer, which was completely successful. I am cured with no side effects.

Mr Khoubehi performed a TURP on me six months ago without performing any diagnostic test on my prostate - no TRUS which is considered fundamental. My prostate was not enlarged and a TURP operation in the circumstances was not justified (confirmed by the second urologist who is now looking after me). Not only was the operation unsuccessful (unsurprising given the above) but it resulted in sepsis and ongoing prostatic pain and problems, including urination, none of which were pre-existing. I was referred to Mr Khoubehi by my GP, Patrick Ruane, who told me during a regular annual medical that I was retaining urine, which as a very fit 63 year old came as a surprise. Mr Khoubehi told me I needed a TURP operation. I trusted my GP who strongly recommended Khoubehi. Neither my GP nor Mr Khoubehi has been able to tell me (despite being asked) why the basic diagnostic tests were not performed. I was a private patient of Mr Khoubehi, by whom I was operated on in the London Clinic. My impression of him was that his interest in making money overrode his medical professionalism. I am still suffering the consequences of his treatment. I am happy to provide more details.
