I've already given a detailed account of Dr Sultan. What I would say regarding Peterborough City Hospital is, over the years I've had quite a few operations due to breast cancer. The support I was given by staff, nurses even cleaners (they would come in to clean my room and always had a kind word) was second to none. I've heard people complaining and my answer to them is go to America or any other country who does not have an NHS and see how much this would cost you.
The personnel at the hospital were uniformly excellent. Making contact with a 'real person' by telephone however was very difficult
Reduce time spent in queues
Personalised face to face appointment
The staff member listened ,made suggestions about next steps and consulted my views too.
Ten years of Ent problems always discharged back into the care of GP that refers again and months to be seen.
The multicultural staff work together as a really cohesive and caring force. They are a sound, professional team.
This hospital is a brilliant place I have never had any problems there apart from trying to park my car.
I had a knee replacement operation some 12 years ago: my time in hospital was like staying in a hotel on holiday and having an operation in the middle of it - excellent.
I have had several procedures since and from the ward receptionist to the completion of the procedure I could not find fault , everyone was excellent.
Dr Treece is a brilliant caring and understanding doctor. She is has been honest and upfront during my procedures. I have always felt in safe and knowledgable hands. I would throughly recommend this doctor to other patients she is a great asset to the NHS
