Super friendly and professional. Denton I think was the guy that helped me put the lenses in. Super nice. Also the optician but I am sorry but I forgot her name but I have it on my prescription.
Everything was good and cannot see how to improve it!
When I arrived at the checkout to let them know I had arrived, there were 2 ladies at the till - the assistant manager was obviously very annoyed at one of the members of staff in white coat, and was frustrated at something on the till. Not professional. The lady in the white coat was very friendly. I was then asked to sit in the waiting area which I did. The Optometrist called me forward, throughout my eye test she was not particularly friendly but that's ok. After my eye test I had to sit down with the assistant manager, the one who was pissed off earlier, and she immediately initiated a discussion on which new glasses I wanted. I went for an eye test because I received a letter from Boots, I understand that this is where you make your money but I didn't appreciate the assumption that I wanted to spend over £100 on new glasses, I would have preferred her to have asked me if I wanted to. After I told her I wasn't going to buy glasses today she asked me why I came in for an eye test then? Again, not that professional. She then told me there was one final test to do, took me back into the room where I had to count the white flashing dots when they arrayed. WHY do you have this test AFTER I have received my results and been asked to buy new glasses? It makes no sense. The Boots opticians in Northwich, Cheshire is very professional. The one in Angel, London, I won't be going again.
